The ABWA Ruth Whitehead Whaley Scholarship awards law students who strive beyond the rigors of law school and demonstrate a commitment to public interest, civil rights and actively participate in their community.

Eligibility Requirements:

Current J.D. law student

Demonstrated interest in the Judiciary

Strong academics and promising legal acumen

Demonstrated financial need

May not be offered this year - verify status with the scholarship provider

$3,000 (multiple awards)

Location Description:

Enrolled at an accredited law school in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut
